As she journeys, from the high desert rock formations of Abiquiu to the coastal waters of her homeland in Scotland,

Anne Devine will explore her ongoing body of work into the nature of Deep Time in the Landscape:

"No Vestige of a Beginning, No Prospect of an End" 

inspired by these words of James Hutton (1726-1797), she will be working on a new body of paintings for future exhibitions both here in New Mexico and in Scotland.
